Reflecting Coastal Character
This 18,500 SF home for the Lincoln City Police Department is designed to meet police needs and to serve as an Emergency Operations Center to support the community through a major earthquake or other disasters on the Oregon Coast.
The design team faced several challenges, including a site characterized by steep topography. The approach integrated native coastal plantings for erosion control and resiliency. Evergreen and deciduous trees are carefully placed for canopy cover and wind protection. A lovely and functional rain garden celebrates the local environment.
